Molecular Glasses Wins Audience Choice Award at Luminate NY Competition

Molecular Glasses of Rochester was awarded $10,000 for creating new, low-cost materials for mobile devices that reduce power consumption while providing higher display resolution. Molecular Glasses is a graduate of the NEXUS-NY clean energy proof-of-concept center.
Luminate NY is administered by NextCorps and based in Rochester at downtown’s Sibley Square. The business accelerator accepts 10 promising optics, photonics and imaging companies to participate each year. The program launched in 2018. Applications are being accepted through September 24 for the next class. Those accepted receive a minimum of $100,000.
